It’s haunting. It’s beautiful.
It’s also controversial to locals (we’ve read) but the accompanying NY Times travel article might be of interest to folks who’d like to travel to England, particularly the storied southwest. King Arthur and Excalibur stories abound but so does beautiful country and a rich history.
It’s a bit of a read but might be just what you need before heading there yourself.
